What are you Made of?

Arnold Schwarzenegger is seen by most as quite an accomplished man. Coming from Austria at a young age with nothing and turning himself into a household name, marrying a Kennedy and becoming governor of California – he embodies the ideals of success and determination.

Many would call him a ‘self-made man’ – he came from nothing and became something pretty big. However if you ask him, he says just the opposite.

Arnold does not see himself as a self-made man because he isn’t – none of us are. He became the person he is today by the help, support and love of his family, mentors, and coaches; people who saw his passion and believed in him. He is who he is because of the people around him.

As you go into the New Year, and each subsequent week, think about who you are today and who you want to become. You too are not ‘self-made’ – you too need the help, support and love of others around you to keep you focused, on track and lifted up.

Arnold achieved great things and so can you!
