Let Go
When a rock climber is ascending a slope, they work to move by finding the safest rocks to secure themselves in. They know that to get to the top, they must let go of the rock they are holding on to. This can be scary and it doesn't guarantee success, but it is the only way to move forward toward their goal.
We do the same thing. Everyday we climb and move toward our goal. We have to traverse challenging passes that are not always fun or guarantee safety. Sometimes we want to hold on to our current 'rocks' or situation for fear that we may make a mistake. But if all we do is hold on, we can never move forward.
This week ask yourself what you may need to let go of in order to move forward. Believe in yourself and your dreams and have the faith to risk - be willing to let go and reach for the next rock and climb up your mountain.
